Whether you are on or off campus for the Spring/Summer season, CareerZone is offering hybrid services from 10am-4pm Monday to Friday. Meet your Summer Career Navigators!
Hey Badgers! I’m Jenna Meier, and I am one of the Career Navigators that will be working this summer! I love to play guitar and sing on my porch, thrifting and iced coffee, hiking, and watching the beautiful sunsets in Port Dalhousie! I was born and raised in St. Catharines and have a strong passion for helping others, especially when it comes to students and their career journeys. I am so excited to help more students navigate their career journeys in an accessible-friendly way and look forward to seeing all of you lovely Badgers either in-person or in our virtual cafes and Q&A’s!
Hey Brock goers! I am Julia Collin-Pereira, and I am the second Summer Career Navigator! I am extremely excited to work here for the summer as I will hopefully get to meet and interact with all of you amazing people. In my free time I enjoy watching Netflix and going on long drives! I am originally from Scarbrough but am currently relocating to Chippawa. For this summer I hope to find ways to make the CareerZone more accessible for everyone! See you all soon! 🙂
To kick things off, we will have open Q&A sessions running Monday May 6th, Wednesday May 8th, and Friday May 10th from 1-2pm on Teams. Following our opening week, Q&A’S will be held every Wednesday from 1-2pm for the month of May. Our amazing Cafe’s will begin Monday May 13th from 1-2pm and run on a Monday and Friday schedule for the remainder of the summer! To access these Microsoft Teams Meetings, you can visit the CareerZone portal’s dashboard through careerzone.brocku.ca where you can navigate upcoming events and workshops! To join our meetings, you can select the meeting you would like to join, and you will then be taken to a Teams meeting! We hope you take advantage of these cafes and Q&As offered this summer and look forward to chatting with all of you about your careers!
